Step 1: Scoping
We meet (or talk on phone) to discuss your high level requirements – other sites you like/dislike – and to discuss a domain name.
Step 2: Contract & Invoice
We send you a contract, an invoice for the deposit, and paperwork for domain registration or transfer – if necessary. Management charges start at this point as we need to host the site and pay for the domain name – this also makes the project run on schedule as both parties are now time bound.
Step 3: Deposit & Initial Content
You send us the deposit and paperwork, and some initial content/images – and then exSite starts work. You start compiling your content too, so there is no delay at the end!
Step 4: Draft Design
exSite sends you a draft “mock-up” image of what the site would look like.
Step 5: Feedback
You send us your feedback on the proposed design – we modify and send you a new updated draft.
Step 6: Changes & Sign-Off
If necessary, we meet again to thrash out your requirements and get the best design possible. At the end of this phase you sign off on the design.
Step 7: Development Phase
Once you are absolutely happy with the design we develop it into a working demo site.
Step 8: Content Phase
You send us the final content – We send you the final invoice for the second half of the payment.
Step 9: Fine-Tuning & Training
We work together to input the content – just as you want it, and so you can learn to use the site.
Step 10: Final Payment & Launch
You make the final payment.
Site goes live!
Step 11: Management
exSite remains involved to iron out any teething issues, and either manage your new site completely for you, or to continually train and support you to update it yourself.
Step 12: Promotion
exSite can enhance your website ‘visibility’ on search engines, such as Google, and promote your site using paid search advertising, social media campaigns, and ethical link building strategies.
Our 12 step delivery process allows both the client and exSite to collaborate and create the most effective and visually appealing web presence possible. It provides complete transparency, open communication, as well as a clear and definitive schedule.
It also allows for re-engineering or changes to be made by simply going back to a particular step for evaluation and modification, thus ensuring that your website suits your needs perfectly.
The real first step is to call our team of designers and developers today for advice on how we can create a website that will have your customers emailing you in no time.
