Connacht Whiskey

The Connacht Whiskey Company is a purveyor of fine Irish whiskey, distilled and aged from start to finish at their Connacht Distillery on the banks of the River Moy in West Ireland. From mash to bottling, all of their whiskey is produced on-site. Their custom stills and brewing equipment make for a unique, one-of-a-kind spirit.

Connacht Whiskey came to exSite looking for a quality website to match the quality of their product. We were tasked with a complete overhaul of their former website, including reorganizing information architecture, streamlining the conversion funnel, and updating the site’s back-end technical elements.

We started to help them immediately by providing support to the team at Connacht Whiskey with with their legacy website. We hold monthly meetings to review performance and make regular website updates. We are also currently assisting with distributor outreach and engagement in an effort to help expand Connacht Whiskey’s delivery options to the UK and beyond.

To make the site more navigable, we completely reorganized the site’s pages. This made it easier for customers to find the site’s shop function, and browse Connacht Whiskey’s premium products. Additionally, we made the site’s age gate simpler to use.

We made major improvements to the site’s conversion funnel by changing shipping and billing options. The site now allows the company to charge appropriately for delivery, and to offer a Click and Collect option. We also added a pre-order function for their newest product, which contributed to over 200 sales of the product in December of 2020.

We are in the process of creating a completely new Connacht Whiskey site so watch this space for a big launch in the 2021.
