Want €2,500 towards an eCommerce website?

Are you selling online? If not – you’re missing out!

Did you know that 70% of online purchases made in Ireland occur in overseas markets? The Irish are missing out on a massive marketshare and in an effort to combat this, Local Enterprise Offices nationwide are offering grants or “Online Trading Vouchers” to those businesses that are eligible.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • Vouchers will be available to a maximum value of €2,500 or 50% of eligible expenditure (exclusive of VAT), whichever is the lesser
  • Voucher approval must be gained prior to incurring any expense
  • Own labour is not an eligible expense
  • Third party costs only will be considered
  • All third party/supplier invoices must contain proper business details (e.g. Tax and Business Registration details)

Businesses that apply must

  • Have limited Online Trading presence
  • Have less than 10 employees
  • Have turnover that is less than €2m
  • Be registered and trading for at least 12 months
  • Be located in one of the pilot areas under this phase of the scheme

More information is available at the Local Enterprise Offices website, or give us a call today on 01 6853851 or email info@exsite to get the ball rolling.

Many of our clients are taking this opportunity this to ensure their website is responsive to smartphones and tables, following Google’s recent ‘Mobilegeddon’ update (penalising websites that are not mobile friendly).
